On Thursday, November 11, 2021, the doors of the Thesign Salon opened for an art and beauty aperitif. The occasion was the preview presentation of the first of twelve works planned for the SQUARTALIZED project.
The project was created “in tandem” by the artistic duo Vito Bongiorno and the multifaceted Nathaly Caldonazzo.
he project explores and delves into the trauma of violence against women and will have its official debut in the spring at the San Salvatore in Lauro Museum.
Linked to SQUARTALIZED is also the development of a very raw docufilm and the creation of a perfume with intense, almost violent top notes. The fragrance was crafted by nosing expert Angelo Sanzio.
In addition to the work from the SQUARTALIZED Project, the showroom features a selection of the most famous pieces by the renowned artist Vito Bongiorno, as well as a series of acrylic works by Nathaly Caldonazzo, who has now established herself on the international scene.
Vito’s paintings seem to radiate their own light: his white canvases, stained with ash and charcoal, integrate perfectly with the space, enhanced by gold splashes that add depth and value to the works.
In the innermost room, the love for details is enhanced by Nathaly’s art. Her works evoke a subtle sense of unease that manages to touch you deeply. The environment is refined, with harmonious warm-toned colors, and the paintings lend a distinct strength and character to the entire room.
