The contemporary art vernissage titled “Isolità – The Uniqueness of the Self” by Sicilian artist Letizia Lo Monaco was held on Wednesday, April 12th at our showroom.
The event was characterized by a very intimate and reflective atmosphere, where the artworks of Letizia Lo Monaco were displayed with great care, thanks to the curatorship of Edoardo Alaimo, in perfect harmony with the showroom setting arranged by Salvo and Stefano.
At the entrance of the gallery, visitors were welcomed by a series of contemporary artworks that represented the concept of uniqueness and diversity, the central theme of the exhibition.
The artist, who attended the exhibition, had the opportunity to interact with visitors and explain the meaning of her works. Letizia shared her passion for art and her idea of Isolità as uniqueness, emphasizing the importance of discovering and celebrating one’s individuality.

Letizia Lo Monaco’s works are paintings with a strong sense of color, featuring shades of blue, ochre, green, and red that create a highly evocative atmosphere. The artist’s technique is particularly distinctive and original: she paints on canvas or paper with great attention to matericità (materiality), achieved through the application of leather tissues and, at times, sand, creating an effect of nuances and sensory contrasts.
The exhibition aroused great interest and attracted many visitors, including art enthusiasts, critics, and collectors. The atmosphere was lively and animated, with many people engaging in discussions about the artworks on display and their personal interpretations.
