For the first edition of Rome Art Week, master Masayoshi Sukita’s photographs filled the showroom with the face of David Bowie.

Sukita made each specimen unique by destroying the negatives of the photographs after numbering them.

The exhibition was thus a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, immersing you in the world of one of the rock scene’s greatest through portraits taken in London, New York, and Japan; iconic shots from the Heroes ’77 shoot; images from the trip to Kyoto; and photographs taken for the promotion of the Heathen album.

A contemporary art vernissage that catapulted you inside some of the moments of Bowie’s life, and stimulated the desire to listen and tell stories.

Absorbed by this suggestion, we devoted a day to the Polastoria event. An impromptu performance of writing and photography in which those present let a polaroid be taken and writers from the Sundays Storytelling company created a story on it.

A photo, a moment, a memory–an emotion!
