The Aventine district is one of the most charming and historically rich areas of Rome. Situated on the banks of the Tiber River, this neighborhood is characterized by a unique combination of ancient monuments, tranquil gardens, and elegant residences. The narrow, winding streets are lined with historic buildings, ancient churches, and Roman ruins, creating a captivating and romantic atmosphere.
The client is a young professional couple with clear and sophisticated tastes. The apartment has a surface area of more than 200sqm, with double living room, dining room, two bedrooms, walk-in closet, large kitchen and laundry room, and 3 bathrooms.
Rediscovering Classical Elegance through a Modern Lens
In this design project, we aimed to explore the essence of the bourgeois soul, translating its intrinsic values and refined aesthetic sense into a contemporary context.
We ventured into the heart of tradition, capturing the essence of the stately palace, yet with a fresh and innovative perspective.
Through a synergistic approach between past and present, we created spaces that tell a story of timeless elegance, while at the same time embracing the needs and tastes of today.
The following products were chosen for this project:
Clean lines, white as the predominant color, and the original ceiling stuccoes create a refined mix where every detail is designed to evoke a sense of familiarity and sophistication, with a touch of modernity that makes the spaces welcoming and functional for contemporary living.
With this project, we aim to offer a new design paradigm that unites the elegance of the past with the vitality of the present, creating spaces that captivate the eye and nourish the soul.
